Pulastic sports floor application throughout their existing gym facility.
Dannevirke High is a medium sized unisex secondary school situated in Southern Hawkes Bay. The school invited NZSC to appraise & provide pricing on a suitable Pulastic sports floor application throughout their existing gym facility. The final contract tender process & ongoing project management was conducted by IR Group Ltd on behalf of the Ministry of Education as part of a larger gym upgrade project for the school.
The sports flooring system selected on this occasion was the Pulastic Classic 70 Eco (7mm complete system thickness). Work commenced in July 2021 with the NZSC team sanding the existing strand board polyurethane coated floor and raising the 18 No. existing socket inserts by 7mm to coincide with the new finished floor level.
The Classic 70 flooring installation took 5 days to apply with a further 3 days of court line markings. The multiple court layouts are considered very busy consisting of 4 x Badminton, 1 x Basketball, 1 x Volleyball, 3 x Volleyball Cross Courts, 1 x Netball & beep test lines.
The school are exceptionally pleased with their new transformed sports flooring. Both staff & students are now enjoying the benefits of a dynamic flooring system… plus it looks sensational!
